Check Out Some Earthion Gameplay Footage from PAX West 2024

Earthion, an upcoming 2D side-scrolling shooter that is being designed by Yuzo Koshiro’s development studio, Ancient Corp, is heading to the Sega Genesis/Megadrive, as well as other consoles and PC. However, at PAX West 2024, Limited Run Games had a very short demo of Earthion available to play, and being a fan of this game genre, I jumped at the chance to play Earthion.

Thanks to Limited Run Games, I was allowed to record some gameplay from the game. This wasn’t easy, as that booth was cramped and had many people coming in every second. Still, I think that the gameplay captured gives a good indication of what Earthion is all about.

Earthion was initially scheduled for a Summer 2024 release, but that has since been moved to 2025.
