Bioware Teases Dragon Age: The Veilguard Release Date Announcement, Content Roadmap

Things are ramping up for EA and Bioware’s upcoming action RPG, Dragon Age: The Veilguard. As revealed today, Bioware is ready to reveal the release date of the title, so it’s just one more day for that info. One more day until we know when we can really start counting down the days for the next Dragon Age game to be released. I’m also hoping that we don’t end up being told that the game is being delayed.

Only 18 hours to go!r

However, in addition to the release date reveal, Bioware has provided a roadmap of sorts, teasing when it will release more content for the game.

August 15 – Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date reveal
Week of August 19th – High-level combat and PC spotlight
Week of August 26th – Companions week
August 30th – Developer Discord Q&A
September 3rd – IGN first and IGN exclusive coverage of the title begins

I’m really interested in the PC spotlight, especially because I want to see just what sort of goodies the PC version Outside of that, Bioware is teasing that more Dragon Age: The Veilguard content will start to tickle out.

Dragon Age The Veilguard Content RoadmapExcited would be the wrong for me to use regarding all of this. It was just back during June that we got a look at some Dragon Age: The Veilguard gameplay. Since then, I’ve been looking forward to my next hit and Bioware seemingly has me covered.

It’s been 10 years since the last Dragon Age installment, with Dragon Age: Inquisition released in 2014. I’m eagerly anticipating The Veilguard, as the story continues after Inquisition, and Bioware seems to be packing the game with a myriad of options and features, including lots of companions and yes, romancing them.

Assuming things don’t change, Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released in Fall 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC.
