The Legend of Zelda Echoes Of Wisdom Gets Shocking Reveal At Nintendo Direct

It's her time now!
By Todd BlackJune 18, 2024
The Legend of Zelda Echoes Of Wisdom, Nintendo Direct, Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Eiji Aonuma, Suda51, Final Fantasy

There were MANY predictions about what might be shown at the latest Nintendo Direct, especially since the Nintendo Switch is on its official last year. Many didn’t have high hopes and didn’t expect too many surprises. However, as my recap proved, that wasn’t the case at all. Nintendo had plenty of surprises left, and one of the biggest was The Legend of Zelda Echoes Of Wisdom! The game takes a bold new direction for the series by finally having Zeldas as the protagonist in her own adventure!

Long story short, Link saves her from Ganon (again), only for the hero to be swallowed up by a shadowy rift! He frees Zelda just before he’s consumed, leaving her as the only one who can figure out what’s happening and find all who have been taken across Hyrule! She’s not a warrior, though, she’s a wise soul, and that means she needs something special just for her, and that’s where the new staff she gets comes into play.

Zelda will be able to make copies, or “Echoes,” of items and use them however she wants across Hyrule. She can even copy monsters and summon them into battle to aid her! The game will force players to think in new ways and not just rush into action.

The Legend of Zelda Echoes Of Wisdom arrives on September 26th!
