I’m starting to wonder if Death Battle is trying to “test fans.” Why do I say that? Because the last several matchups have been insane, or matchups we didn’t think we’d see, and with Rick Sanchez vs The Doctor, that trend continues. Rick & Morty is one of the most popular (and nuts) animated series on TV, and Doctor Who is about to celebrate its 60th anniversary. These two have very different styles, but also always get the job done. So, who wins in a fight between these two? You’re about to find out!
A key thing to note about this fight is that it’s completely hand-drawn, just like Scooby-Doo/Courage was! But it’s in a more consistent style, and that makes it feel like an episode of Rick & Morty mixed with some Doctor Who hilarity. Trust me, there are plenty of Easter Eggs here.
