Remnant 2 – The Awakened King adds several new locations and events, such as the Ethereal Manor. This is an optional event, but one that’s worthwhile as it will provide you with an amulet called the Blood-Soaked Amulet.
This event can appear in the Sunken Haunt or Derelict Lighthouse, and I suspect other locations as well. However, this guide will explain how to start and complete this event.
How to complete the Remnant 2 Ethereal Manor event
**Update** It was also brought to my attention that if you use the Explorer Archetype, you can also use the Fortune Hunter ability to find the items. Though, because that’s on a cooldown, you’ll have to wait.
Once you find the building that looks like the one in the image below, go inside. You’ll know you’re in the right location, as it is a gated build. So far, this is the only one that looks like this location.
Once you head inside, some enemies will be inside, so get rid of them first. Then, head upstairs and head to the left once it is done. You’ll see this creepy guide sitting in a chair, and as soon as you get near him, he will grab you and scream, “Wake Up!” You will then be teleported to the front of the building, and you won’t be able to finish the event until you complete it.
This will start the event.
The goal of this event is to find several items without encountering that creepy guy again. Once you head inside the building, you can go anywhere you want, but you can only open one door at a time. You’ll either find the item or the guy. Finding either will send you back outside, but if you find the guy, it restarts the event and takes any item you’ve already found from you.
The goal is to find all the items without running into the guy. While this seems like a game of chance, it’s pretty easy. On each door is a window that allows you to look inside the rooms, which will give you an advantage over the event. Don’t do what I initially did and open every door, and note which one had the guy in it. That takes way too long.
Head to any door, then look through the window for a bright orange color. Look thoroughly, but you will see it either on a dresser or a table. This will help you get through this event.
You’ll need to get four items. The first is a “Strange Talisman,” the second and third are the “Bloody Talisman,” and the final item that you’ll be rewarded with is the “Death-Soaked Idol.”
The event ends once you earn the Death-Soaked Idol, and you will be transported out of the manor.
The Blood-Soaked Amulet works great for any class that uses negative status effects against enemies, and it works as a fantastic amulet for the Ritualist Archetype.
