Marza releases sequel to “Night of the Werehog” staring Lah the Ghost Girl

Lah the ghost girl

In case you didn’t realize it, today is October 31st, 2023, which means it’s Halloween (for the places that celebrate it). Candy, tricks, and friendly scares are the topic for the day, and for fans of Sonic the Hedgehog, there’s even a treat that has been 15 years in the making. A very cute video called “Ghost Tale” has been released by Marza Animation Planet, just in time for Halloween. It stars Lah, a female ghost that appeared in the short called “Sonic: Night of the Werehog,” a promotional film for Sega’s Sonic Unleashed, along with her partners Su and Uh.

In this new video, Su and Uh are still trying to impress Lah and, in doing so, inspire Lah to outdo them both. Sadly, while she is unable to do so, Su and Uh combine forces to help her accomplish her feat. Sadly, Sonic doesn’t make an appearance, but you do see a nod to the game via a poster in Lah’s room.

Give it a watch below.

Marza Animation Planet, formerly SEGA VE Animation Studio, is widely known for its fantastic cutscene work on many Sega-developed games and a handful of short films. The company also did the CGI work for the recent Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and Sonic the Hedgehog live-action films.

If you haven’t seen the original Marza “Sonic: Night of the Werehog,” I’ve added parts 1 and 2 for you to enjoy below.
