Meta Quest 3 to support Xbox Cloud Gaming

By Keith MitchellSeptember 27, 2023
Xbox Cloud Gaming on Meta Quest 3

Meta will soon release its latest VR headset, the Meta Quest 3, and with that comes some major news. According to the Meta Quest Twitter account, the Meta Quest 3 will support Xbox Cloud Gaming, giving gamers instant access to a vast library of Xbox games.

Obviously, you’ll need an Xbox Live account to get access to Xbox Cloud Gaming, this is yet another great way to play some Xbox games. Even better, now you won’t even need a TV or monitor,  and just put on the headset and game. It’s like we’re living in the future or something. For us Meta Quest 2 owners, there hasn’t been any word if this feature will come to the prior headset.

💥 AND GUESS WHAT 💥

Take your @Xbox games to all new levels on #MetaQuest3 with Xbox Cloud Gaming!

The Meta Quest 3 is currently being shown off during the Meta Connect 2023 event, which takes from September 27th to 28th, and is dropping lots of news about the upcoming VR headset. The Meta Quest 3 is priced at $499.99 for the 128GB edition / $649.99 for 512GB, and the Meta Quest 3 release date is October 10, 2023. It looks like I’ll be in the market to sell my Meta Quest 2 to help offset the cost.

Here are the Meta Quest 3 VR headset specs if you weren’t already aware of them.
