The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak Announced

By Scott AdamsSeptember 21, 2023

We have got new Legend of Heroes news for Kuro no Kiseki… I am sorry I meant Trails Through Daybreak. We have the localized name now and a new trailer showcasing the new voices and even a release time frame!

Let me gush just a little bit. We have such a great voice for Van plus some great voices for all the characters that fit their personalities. I am so excited to be able to see even a glimpse of the future of Trails with its localization incoming. Fans were hoping the title would be more aligned with Trails into Dawn or Trails to Twilight, but honestly I love the name Trails Through Daybreak. It adds another word that hasn’t been in any of the prior trails games. That helps separate it enough from the other Legend of Heroes games as well.

Not only was the game itself announced but the Limited Edition and its contents were announced as well.

There is an option to buy and preorder this game already on the NIS America storefront. You can also get the game with Plushies of Van and Agner. The plushies just have a graphic of them rather than an image of what they will look like.

If you want to know more about where this game fits in the grand scheme of things in the Trails timeline, be sure to look up my introduction article about starting the series proper.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak will release on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Summer 2024.
