Genshin Impact Art Exhibition Begins August 19

By Josh PiedraAugust 4, 2023

Global hit video game Genshin Impact surprised fans and gamers today with the announcement of the game’s official global art exhibition, “Endless Adventure in Teyvat: Fontaine Edition.” The exhibition will first land in New York, Paris, Taipei, and Tokyo before being made available online for free in 15 languages.

The exhibition celebrates the upcoming release of Fontaine, the beautiful fictional Nation of Justice where culture, art, and technology thrive. With over 60 concept sketches, visitors will be able to get a behind-the-scenes look at the philosophies and process behind the creation of the environment, landscapes, culture, architecture, creatures, characters, and every aspect of Fontaine. More than 30 concept art illustrations will further demonstrate how the artists combined the elements of water, gears, and clockwork with the Baroque and different styles to create buildings, as well as how they drew inspiration from majestic mountains and nature in Europe with the aim of creating a diverse and fantastical underwater area. Giant life-size models and miniatures will also be created to showcase the in-game content. For music lovers, the complete scores for Fontaine’s main theme and battle music will also be unveiled to the public.

As a thriving live-service game in its third year, Genshin Impact’s popularity lies in its vibrant and creative community, and the Genshin Impact Art Exhibition is proud to present derivative work and fan art from over 40 artists and content creators including illustrator and graphic artist Solène Debiès, sumi-e artist Yu-Ki Nishimoto, artist Yuzhi Zhou, and contemporary painter Maxence Ma.
