Voting Now Open for Feardemic’s Horror Game Awards

Fear Fest Horror Game of the Year Horror Game Awards

You can now vote for your favorite horror game of the year. Ahead of Fear Fest in September, Feardemic has kicked off voting for the Horror Game Awards. Polls will close on August 3d, determining the scariest game to rule them all (of this year, that is).

Though actually, “horror game of the year” just describes one of a fitting thirteen categories. Each winner will receive a Golden Bat Award, so you can have a hand in deciding who gets this ghoulish prize. The games have a good variety of everything from AAA to indie horror games. Check out all the categories below. When you’re ready, you may vote here. If you dare.

Whew. And there you have it. All thirteen categories eligible for voting. What did you think of the list? Perhaps you’ve played most of the games here (if so, you’re a better horror fan than me right now). Or maybe your favorites got snubbed (Ashley Graham for best character or Paranormasight for best narrative, anyone?).

Either way, you can vote here and then learn the results on September 7th. Fear Fest will officially kick off on September 6th, with the Horror Game Awards coming on the following day. You can tune in then on IGN’s Youtube or Twitch to watch the horror unfold live at 11am pacific time/2pm eastern time/7pm UK time.
