Xbox Announces New Black Xbox Series S With 1TB of Storage

By Nic FoxJune 11, 2023

During the Xbox showcase, we got to see a very interesting edition of the super popular Xbox Series S. Previously only in white, with 512 GB of storage, the new edition of the console comes in black and is called Carbon Black, comes in a 1 TB of storage, perfect for the upcoming Starfield and other graphically intensive releases.

This version of the console will retail at $349, similar to Nintendo’s Switch OLED model, once again proving how much Xbox has its eye on the market and surrounding competitors. Originally, the series S retailed at $299, being a great entryway for those looking to play modern releases without breaking the bank or sacrificing too much in the way of performance.

The new edition of the Series S will launch on September 1.
