TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Now Available on Mobile Devices

The best em’ up of 2022, and in my opinion, the best in the past decade, is now available for mobile devices. TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is now available on iOS and Android devices, but there’s a catch.

Instead of the usual channels, Netflix is handling the mobile release, wthat strikes me as odd. As Netflix is handling the release, while you don’t need to pay for the game, you do need to subscribe to Netflix to play the game. Trying to launch the game without logging into Netflix, you’ll be greeted with a login screen. Other than that, you can download the title via the Apple Apps Store and Google Play.

The mobile version of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, the game features both touchscreen controls, or as I alluded to earlier, you can connect a controller to your ioS or Android device. Multiplayer co-op wiht up to 4 players is also supported, and it’s good to see that feature wasn’t cut.

I gave it a spin on my Samsung S22 Ultra, as I was curious about the performance, and the game ran as well as it did on my consoles and PC. Honestly, I’m impressed with the port – it’s some good stuff. The touch controls work well, but again; I’m not a fan of them. If you’re looking to play this, a physical gamepad, such as the Backbone or Razer Kishi, is the way to go.

TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is one of The Outerhaven’s favorite games for various reasons. The combat is fun, the presentation is impressive, and the multiplayer experience is top-notch. Check out our review of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge if you haven’t already.

Developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu,TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is faithful to the source material, and is an evolution of the original TMNT arcade games by Konami and even the fan-made games.
