Oni-Lion Forge Publishing Group announced today that they have named Hunter Gorinson as the new Vice President of Business Development of Boom! Studios.
Gorinson was most recently at Bad Idea, the rather quirky start up focused on a small line of print comics. Before that he was at Valiant, and at both companies he was a whiz at innovative marketing, and, as they say, “demonstrating success in forging new initiatives in partnership with some of the most recognizable creators, properties, and brands in entertainment.” He’s also branched into media production in recent years, with credits for Hivemind (The Witcher) and his own Allnighter production company (Weird Fantasy, Luther Strode) So definitely a high-level hire for Boom.
“It’s been my hope to one day work with Hunter since he first wowed the industry-leading the marketing and communication efforts at Valiant Entertainment.
