Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 3 Join Million-Sellers Club

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Over the last several months, there have already been many major releases for the Nintendo Switch. Both 1st and 3rd party titles have gotten their time in the shine, and yet a few stood out over the rest. We speak of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 3. The former was a critically-beloved title that we couldn’t get enough of. The latter was a record-setting title the moment it came out on shelves. But the question became, how well would it do within its first few months?

The latest financial data for the second fiscal quarter of 2022 has come, and in it, both Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 3 were revealed to be in the million-sellers club. The former with 1.79 million in just over two months, and the latter with 7.9 million units sold in under one month. Both are very impressive.

7) Super Mario Party- 18.35m
8) Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl- 14.92m
9) Ring Fit Adventure- 14.87m
10) Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee- 14.81m

Splatoon 3 selling 8m units in under 1 month is crazy!

As you can see with the other announcements, the Switch is still selling software units like hotcakes. Kirby and the Forgotten Land reaching 5.27 million makes it the best-selling game in the franchise’s history! Not bad, huh? The only question now is how well Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will do when it launches on the 18th.
