Untitled Captain America and Black Panther Game Announced

By Scott AdamsSeptember 9, 2022
Disney and Marvel Games Showcase Black Panther

Of all the new announcements shown at the Disney and Marvel Games showcase, the one I thought was most interesting had no name.

It featured the likes of Captain America and Black Panther looking to fight the Hydra organization. Some of the shots detail moments of the time period during World War II war. For those who are fans of Marvel comic books, this looks to be based on the Captain America / Black Panther – Flags of our Fathers. In this book, Captain America and the Black Panther (King Azzuri of Wakanda) meet for the first time, as they, alongside the Howling Commandos, battle Nazis.

Another interesting thing to note is that this game, in particular, is headed by Amy Henning with Skydance New Media. Amy Henning was one of the heads in charge of the first three games of the Uncharted series.

I hope this means we see some stellar writing and choreography in the game. Amy Henning describes it as an Action-Adventure game that will be on par with her work with Uncharted.

Amy says this is an action adventure game with world class visuals and will be in the vein of her work on Uncharted, but even more “inviting to play.” pic.twitter.com/3KxpKpn7EO
