New Ranked Mode and Classic Arcade Mode headed to MultiVersus

While MultiVersus Season one has been delayed, with no ETA on when it will be released, the official MultiVersus Twitter account is making us wish the season was here. Yesterday, while many of us were watching EVO 2022, an update regarding the MultiVersus season was released.

We already knew that Morty from ‘Rick and Morty’ was a character that was being introduced in the first season. We didn’t know that a new ranked mode, which is currently locked in the open beta, would be introduced.

A classic arcade mode and cosmetics that will include icons, banners, and character variants, are also being added in the first season. Unlike skins, these variants change more than just how a character looks.

Multiversus Season One Snapshot

I’ve been hooked since I played the first closed beta of MultiVersus. I haven’t played anything else ever since the open beta release, and despite my favorite character being nerfed, I’m still in love with the game.

Here’s to hoping that the MultiVersus season one gets released soon. Yet, at the same time, I’d rather whatever bugs and issues with the game get hammered out first before the season drops.
