The Pokemon Company in many ways has it “easy”. By that, we mean that Pokemon as a whole is such a huge brand that it encompasses everything from video games, to trading cards, to apparel, anime, and virtually everything in between. Last year they had a really great profit year, and this year? They did WELL over what the previous year did.
In fact, as you can see by the chart below, The Pokemon Company basically doubled what it did in the last fiscal year, which is frankly quite incredible.

No doubt part of that boom was the massive amount of Pokemon content that came out within the previous year. Including Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl and Pokemon Legends Arceus. All of which sold incredible amounts of software units. And soon, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will arrive, which will boost sales even further. So yeah, they have it easy.
