My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero Celebrates One Year Anniversary

By Josh PiedraMay 18, 2022

Hit mobile RPG  My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is celebrating the one year anniversary of the game’s launch with a huge slate of in-game events, including the release of the highly anticipated new character Suneater, gigantic player rewards and more. The game, which has been downloaded more than 13 million times globally, is based on the smash-hit anime My Hero Academia. The mobile MMORPG launched in 2021 to huge fan excitement, becoming the number one overall App in the United States for the week of launch.

Players can expect the following anniversary celebrations:

  • Suneater Limited Time and EX Card Recruit – During the special event, players can recruit the powerful hero Suneater (U.A. high school student Tamaki Amajiki) and use his mighty quirk Manifest to battle any villains that stand in their way. Suneater events run from May 18 – May 31.
  • Anniversary Recruit – Players can now create the ultimate hero team through a special anniversary event that allows almost all characters to be recruited! This event runs from May 18 through June 14.
  • Anniversary Login Event – All players who log into the game from May 18 to June 14 will earn Daily Anniversary Recruit Tickets. Players will also receive 10 Anniversary Recruit Tickets by in-game mail every Wednesday, claimable through the following week.
  • Additional Anniversary Celebrations – Players can enjoy daily events and a new game mode that unlocks an exclusive Title, in addition to a new idle AFK game mode that can be played for big rewards. Players can also expect an anniversary token exchange event where players can trade in tokens for prizes. These events will run from May 18 through June 14.

My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is published by Crunchyroll Games, the interactive division of the global anime brand. The game transports players into the world of Midoriya and friends, with more than 20 playable characters from the anime. When the game launched in 2021, it became the number one overall app in the United States for a week and drove more than 600% growth for mobile MMORPGs within six months.

My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is available to players in English across North America, Latin America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the Caribbean, and Scandinavia. Fans can download the game now by visiting https://got.cr/mhatsh_crpr.

My Hero Academia is the smash-hit anime series based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi, telling the story of young Izuku Midoriya, who lives in a universe where superpowers — or “Quirks” — have become commonplace. Midoriya dreams of being a hero, although he was born without Quirks. Through the help of friends, family, and heroes, Midoriya is admitted into the prestigious high school for heroes in training where his journey begins. My Hero Academia is animated by bones inc. and the full catalog is available now on Crunchyroll.
