HIKARU UTADA x A. G. COOK Face My Fears Remix Video OUT NOW

By Josh PiedraFebruary 10, 2022

On the heels of the release of their eighth studio album BAD MODE, global pop phenom HIKARU UTADA today reveals the official music video for the A. G. Cook remix of “Face My Fears”

You can check out the video below:

The original “Face My Fears” was co-produced by Skrillex and featured as the opening theme song to 2019’s KINGDOM HEARTS III game. Charting in the Billboard Top 100 upon its release, the original version has since been reimagined by PC Music founder A. G. Cook, who puts his unique spin on the global crossover hit. Today’s music video arrives alongside the highly-anticipated launch of the cloud versions of the KINGDOM HEARTS game series on Nintendo Switch. Created by the video production team from REAL ROCK DESIGN, the video features famous scenes from the hugely-popular action-roleplaying game, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year

The A. G. Cook remix of “Face My Fears” is one of three versions of the song included on Hikaru Utada’s latest album BAD MODE alongside the original English Version as well as a special Japanese Version of the song. Available everywhere now, BAD MODE was released last month and ushers in yet another new chapter in the evolution of Hikaru Utada’s already massive career. The 14-track collection includes a string of chart-topping hits as well as six never-before-released songs in both English and Japanese for their first truly bilingual album release.

For the first time in their career, Hikaru Utada has been actively promoting the album release with interviews outside of Japan, speaking with NPR, Billboard and MTV News to discuss their new album and career. Now, Utada has sat down with Zane Lowe for his Apple Music 1 flagship show, The Zane Lowe Show, for a special one-hour interview feature. Fans can enjoy Apple Music radio wherever they listen to Apple Music as well as online at music.apple.com. The episode is available now to listen to anytime on-demand at apple.co/_Zane.
