Jump Festa 2022 Will Be Hybrid In-Person and Online Event

By Josh PiedraNovember 15, 2021

Shueisha announced that next year’s JUMP Festa is going to be held in person as well as virtually.

The app will receive an update to a brand-new version of the virtual island known as JanFes Island. Here, you will take control of an avatar to visit exhibits. There will also be a scavenger hunt for attendees to embark on! The hunt will have people look for Jump magazines and to collect 22 virtual coins.

There will also be a Jump Original Art Museum which will contain 130 high-res images that also include original art from some of Jump’s most popular authors.

As far as the in-person portion of the event is concerned, you can expect your standard fare of industry panels, guests, and more. Tickets for the event are on sale now. The event is scheduled to be held at the Makuhari Messe. The Jump Festa merchandise store will open starting November 19 and will accept orders until December 19.

If you cannot attend, there are plans to offer videos on the Jump YouTube channel for some of the in-person events and recorded segments.
