Rockman X DiVE Now Available on Steam in Asia

By Josh PiedraSeptember 15, 2021

Rockman X DiVE has officially launched on Steam in the Asian regions! Regions that can access the game are as follows:

  • Taiwan
  • Macau
  • Thailand
  • Singapore
  • Malaysia
  • Philippines
  • Cambodia
  • India

The Steam version of the game adds multiple gamepad support including the DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S controllers. The Steam version also has its own unique set of achievements. Outside of that, there really isn’t much difference between the Steam version or the mobile version. The biggest draw would be the convenience of being able to play the game on a PC with a controller… even though the mobile version does support Bluetooth controllers.

As of the time of this writing, there is zero official word on whether the global version, known as Mega Man X DiVE, will be ported to Steam. The global version is being handled by Nebula Joy independently from Capcom. Nebula Joy has stated; however, that any changes they make to the game need to be approved by the original team working out of Taiwan. The global version is also behind the Taiwan version but is in an accelerated mode in an effort to catch up to them.

This week (September 15, 2021), the global version launched its first DiVEFest which allows players the change to claim Ultimate Armor X from Mega Man X4 as a character. Chances to receive an S-Rank character or weapon are doubled on the banner and a free 10-pull is being offered. Also introduced to the global version is the pity system where you are guaranteed to get an S-Rank pull after 25,000 metals (twenty-five 10-pulls) with the chances increasing the further you approach the 25,000 breakpoint.
