Forza Horizon 5’s map to be the largest map of the series

The playable area in Forza Horizon 5 is huge!

While we already knew that the map in Forza Horizon 5 was larger than that of Forza Horizon 4, 1.5x larger to be exact, we finally had a chance to see just how large the map is. During the recent Forza Horizon 5: Let’s Go! live stream, Playground Games gave a quick look at the map, and yes, it definitely looks larger than any prior Forza Horizon map.

This map includes several biomes that Playground Games has already shown off previously; Canyon, Tropical Coast, Farmland, Arid Hills, Jungle, Living Desert, Rocky Coast, Sand Desert, Swamp, Volcano, and the Urban City of Guanajuato.

Here’s a screenshot of the in-game map from Forza Horizon 5, which takes place in Mexico.

In addition to the Forza Horizon 5 map being revealed, Playground Games showed off a new car addition; the 2020 Toyota GR Supra. A car that was repeatedly requested to be added to Forza Horizon 4 but never materialized. As a big car buff and fan of Forza Horizon, I look forward to getting my hands on both the game and tearing up the roads in this Toyota beast.

Forza Horizon 5 releases on November 9th, 2021, for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Xbox/Windows/Steam).
