Disney+ Reveals First Look, November Premiere for ‘Hawkeye’

By Sara Roncero-MenendezJuly 29, 2021

Grab your bows and arrows, because we’re heading back to the MCU this fall with the release of Hawkeye on Disney+. The company announced the show’s November premiere date as well as giving us a look at Clint Barton and protege Kate Bishop interacting.

Actor Jeremy Renner, who plays Clint Barton, told Entertainment Weekly about the relationship between these two super archers:

“[Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she’s a big Hawkeye fan. She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.”

Besides Renner and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, there’s also Florence Pugh coming in as her Black Widow character, Yelena Belova. For those not in the know, Black Widow ends with Yelena being told she has to kill Barton, and that he is responsible for Natasha Romanov (a.k.a Black Widow)’s death.

Could this also mean we’re getting the Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight series this year? Only time will tell.

Hawkeye premieres on Disney+ on November 24, 2022, and will come out with new episodes every Wednesday.

A reporter by trade, Sara is a lover of horror, sci-fi, and all things pop culture. From indies to classics to even the strangest schlock, all movies and TV shows are fair game. She believes Batman is the most fascinating superhero, and that Silent Hill is one of the best horror franchises ever made (as long as you don't count the movies). Fun Fact: The only movie Sara will not rewatch is The Room -- once was more than enough.
