Anime Expo: Star Wars: Visions unveils studios involved in the upcoming anime shorts

Lucasfilm announced at Anime Expo Lite that Star Wars: Visions will launch on the Disney+ streaming service on September 22! That’s right, we’re getting a Star Wars anime — who would have ever thought this would happen?

In addition, they announced all of the studios that will be involved in the project. Those studios are as follows:

  • Trigger
  • Geno Studio
  • Kamikaze Douga
  • Twin Engine
  • Studio Colorido
  • Kinema Citrus
  • Science SARU
  • Production I.G.

Different studios will be handling different episodes of the series as they “all have a story to tell.”  These are their visions through the lens of Star Wars. This project was created to bring each individual studio’s vision to life.
