Where To Watch Kazuya Mishima’s Super Smash Bros. Presentation

Kazuya Mishima Super Smash Bros Ultimate

As you may already know, Tekken’s poster boy, Kuzuya Mishima, is making his way over to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster. This was announced during Nintendo’s E3 2021 Direct. As such, whenever a new character is introduced into the Smash series, a beefy in-depth presentation takes place shortly afterward.

Today at 7 AM PT/10 AM ET, Nintendo will host a special presentation showcasing everything about the devil-gene boy. According to Nintendo, this live representation clocks in around 40 minutes, so it will be a long one. However, it also means we’re going to get a lot of data, from special modes, advanced gameplay, Kazuya’s stage, and music, among other things. I’m particularly looking forward to hearing the new arrangement that will accompany the stage. The music in Tekken is already amazing stuff, and I’m salivating about the idea of how Nintendo mixes it up.

As for his gameplay, we’ve already seen a few of Kazuya’s moves during the announcement teaser. He retains his signature head butt, can sidestep projectiles and has access to this 10-string combo. Even the EWGF (Electric Wind God Fist) and this Devil transformation appear intact, which spells trouble for everyone else.

Don’t be surprised if the release date for Kazuya joining the roster is much later than you might expect. The world is slowly getting back on its feet following the global pandemic. We’ve seen the effect this has had on game development, and even Sakari had stated how COVID-19 had affected Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s schedule.

Being a fan of the Tekken series, I’m still shaking from Kazuya’s announcement. He’s the perfect character to represent the Tekken series if I don’t say so myself. I’ll be checking out this presentation, will you?
