Hideki Kamiya Blasts “Annoying Public Waste” While Discussing Bayonetta 3

Bayonetta 3

E3 2021 is done, and with its ending came hope as to what was coming in the future for many consoles, but also, left many questions about why certain games were not shown despite being teased previously. For example, during the Nintendo Direct during E3, many 1st and 3rd party games were conspicuously absent including Metroid Prime 4, the long-rumored Mario Kart 9, Project Triangle Strategy from Square Enix, and of course…Bayonetta 3.

The game was announced at The Game Awards back in 2017 and has been royally absent ever since. Fans WANT the title on Switch ASAP and Platinum Games head Hideki Kamiya has only given light updates on things, including one on Twitter , which translates to the following:

“I get why people say, ‘Hurry up and release info’ or ‘Show us something,’ but…,” Kamiya wrote. “Reckless remarks like ‘Has development stopped?’ or ‘I guess it’s been delayed’, etc. are nothing but annoying public waste.”

So yeah, you could say that he’s kind of tired of dealing with these questions. To which fans would say…”Well if you would just update us on Bayonetta 3, we wouldn’t pester you!”

Of course, you can argue that fans of the series have been waiting on an update for quite some. An update that Kamiya has failed to produce and instead gets upset at the fans. If only there was a way to let the fans know, hey everything is moving along swimingly.
