Announced during the Wholesome Direct showcase, Beasts of Maravilla Island is releasing today, June 12th, 2021. Priced at $9.99, the game can be purchased on PC and Nintendo Switch. The game will be coming to the PlayStation and Xbox in the future as well. You can find the trailer below.
Beasts of Maravilla Island is a third-person adventure game where players explore an island, documenting the fantastical creatures that inhabit it. If you are a fan of Pokemon Snap, then this one is for you, as players are tasked with taking photos of the wildlife they come across.
What makes the game stand out for me though is that players are allowed to walk around and explore the island at their leisure. I am looking forward to starting the game on my Nintendo Switch tonight just before I pass out from “first day of E3 exhaustion”.
