Scarlet Nexus Is Not Headed To Xbox Game Pass

At least not yet it isn’t

Earlier this week, several rumors surrounding Bandai Namco’s upcoming action RPG title Scarlet Nexus started circulating the internet. While I won’t get into where the rumor started, Bandai Namco quickly squashed the rumor.

According to Video Games Chronicle, the company denied having any plans to bring Scarlet Nexus to Xbox Game Pass.

“We have no plans to bring Scarlet Nexus to Xbox Game Pass at this time and are excited for its launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on June 25,” said the Bandai Namco representative.

Granted, this is a bit of a bummer, as we’ve seen several newly released titles being released onto Xbox Games Pass on the same day. The last game being Square Enix’s “Outriders.” It’s not the Xbox news people are looking forward to, but at least the truth is out there.

While you wait for the release date, be sure to check out the demo that’s currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5. It’s a nice slice of the first act, and it gives you a good feel for the game. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t already.

As for Scarlet Nexus, the game is shaping up to be an enjoyable action RPG with some unique gameplay elements based on our hands-on. The visuals are amazing, and the game (on Xbox Series X) ran like a dream. Needless to say, we’re all looking forward to playing Scarlet Nexus when it gets released on June 25th, 2021.

Scarlet Nexus releases on June 25th, 2021, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
