Oddworld: Soulstorm PC Requirements Revealed, PS4 To PS5 Upgrade Confirmed

With Oddworld’s release: Soulstorm rapidly approaching, we have been informed of the required PC specs and the PS4 upgrade plans.

If you pick up the PS4 version of the game, you’ll also be able to snag a free upgrade to the PS5 version. However, since the game is coming to the PS5 for free thanks to PlayStation Plus, you will not receive a free PS4 version. The game will be released as a digital-only title but will see a physical release during July 2021.

As for the PC requirements, those are quite tame, and most PC built within the last 4-5 years should run the game.

Minimum PC Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 or above (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Quad Core 1.7Ghz or above
  • Video Card: Nvidia GTX 670 or above
  • Memory: 8GB RAM

Recommended PC Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Quad Core 2.3Ghz or above
  • Video Card: Nvidia GTX 970 or above
  • Memory: 16GB RAM

Oddworld: Soulstorm is an upcoming platform game developed and published by Oddworld Inhabitants for PS4, PS5, and PC.  This is a continuation of 2014’s Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty! and a re-imagining of 1998’s Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus. Abe makes his return as he attempts to save his race, the Mudokons, from servitude. New to the game is a crafting system that will allow players to create new weapons for Abe to utilize.

Oddworld: Soulstorm is the next chapter in the Oddworld series and will be released on April 6th for the PS4, PS5, and PC (Epic Games Store).
