A Second “Theatrical” Trailer Drops For The Suicide Squad

By Todd BlackApril 2, 2021
The Suicide Squad

James Gunn was happy to shock the world not too long ago with his first R-Rated trailer for The Suicide Squad. That trailer happily showed off the insanity of everything that was going to happen to the two new teams that bore the Suicide Squad name including Jarro, lots of death, lots of fun jokes, and of course, King Shark.

But now, James Gunn has released a more “theatrical” trailer for The Suicide Squad movie and it’s filled with much more action and intensity. We get a chilling monologue from Peter Capaldi’s “The Thinker” and a look at all the players in the squads and how their power  and abilities stack up in certain ways. Including confirmation of things like TDK being “The Detachable Kid” in regards to his arms, a look at Ratcatcher II with her rats, Bloodsport and Peacemaker with their guns, and more.

The Suicide Squad arrives this August in theaters and on HBO Max.
