Super Bomberman R Online Heads To PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC

Konami has announced via Twitter that the one Stadia-exclusive title, Super Bomberman R Online, is now headed to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Xbox Series X\S and PS5 backward compatible.) The title will remain a free-to-play title but will also include cross-play support for all platforms.

Super Bomberman R Online is a spin-off of the original Bomberman and is a 64-player battle royale title. In addition to including familiar Bomberman characters, there are several iconic characters from Konami’s games. Yes, we’ll see a Belmont or two, and even the Vic Viper (I really want a new Gradius game).

More info on the game will be released at a later date.

📢 NEWS JUST IN! Super Bomberman R Online is coming soon to Steam & consoles! 🙌

More fans than ever will be able to dive into the explosive and addictive 64-player battle royale mode! 🤩

Originally released for Stadia back in September 2020, Super Bomberman R Online was a free-to-play title. As someone who enjoyed Bomberman in the past, I wasn’t too thrilled about that when it happened. But that’s water under the bridge, as we’ll see the game on other platforms this year.
