The Ancient Magus’ Bride Receives New Anime Project

It was announced via its official Twitter account that The Ancient Magus’ Bride will be receiving a brand-new anime project. It has been stated that project will begin with an OAD series which is being called the first part of the new project.

The official title for the OAD series is The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy From the West and the Knight of the Mountain Haze. It will feature an original story penned by manga creator Kore Yamazaki. The OAD series is scheduled to be bundled with the manga’s 16th, 17th, and 18th volumes, the first of which will ship on September 10.

With the announcement of the new project also comes a new studio that will be handling the series. Studio Kafka will be handling the production and Kazuaki Terasawa will be directing. Terasawa previously worked on Anonymous Noise.
