Gogeta SS4 Joins The Dragonball FighterZRoster This Month

By Keith MitchellMarch 7, 2021
Gogeta SS4 Dragon Ball GT DBFZ Season Pass 3

The final character for the Dragonball FighterZ has been announced during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour, and it’s Gogeta SS4. I was kind of holding out for Pikkon.

Another popular character from DragonBall GT, Gogeta SS4, is the strongest fighter in the entire show. A fusion of Goku and Vegeta, who fused to take down the final villain in Dragon Ball GT, Omega Shenron. Gogeta SS4 will be available for all platforms on March 12, 2021. If you already own Season Pass 4, he’ll be available for free. If not, you can purchase the character for $4.99.

While it is the second Gogeta in the game, with the other being from Dragon Ball Super, there’s enough here to separate the two. There are several differences between the normal moves and supers. Gogeta SS4 level one super results in a barrage of power strikes against his enemy,  while the level three super is a massive Big Bang Kamehameha. He can also taunt during a match, provide a bit of meter, and do this until level seven. Getting to level seven will also amplify the level three super – that’s crazy. It looks like everyone who moved on to Goku Ultra Instinct may have just found yet another powerhouse.

But that’s not all. When Gogeta SS4 matches off against Gogeta SSGSS, we’re treated to a very existing Dramatic Finish. Both characters charge up the signature Kamehameha. If Gogeta SS4 wins, Vegeta and Goku will drop out of the Gogeta SSGSS fusion. If Gogeta SSGSS wins, Vegeta and Goku drop out of the Gogeta SS4 fusion.

If you’re already saying, “there’s already a Gogeta in the game,” clearly you weren’t paying attention; there are already multiple versions of Saiyan characters in the game. So what’s one more?

With this addition, the Dragonball Fighter Z season pass 4 is concluded, consisting of Kefla, Goku (Ultra Instinct), Master Roshi, Super Baby 2, and Gogeta SS4.
