Pokemon Legends Arceus and Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Remake Titles Announced For Switch!

By Todd BlackFebruary 26, 2021
Pokemon Legends Arceus Pokemon Presents

With the Pokemon 25th Anniversary tomorrow many people were wondering what major gaming news The Pokemon Company had in store for gamers, and today during a special presentation, we got that answer. First, we got a look at New Pokemon Snap and all the things you can do with it. Including editing and sharing your pictures online with others and seeing the pictures of other players! But it was the new gaming reveals that everyone will be talking about.

First up, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl! The remastered version of the classic DS games are set to arrive on Nintendo Switch with a faithful yet colorful 3D world to explore and Pokemon to fight. The game looks better than ever and clear fun is going to be had.

However, the most shocking bit of news was that of Pokemon Legends Arceus, a new open-world RPG game also set in the Sinnoh region, but in a time long before Diamond and Pearl. You’ll get one of three starter Pokemon from other regions via Rowlett, Cyndaquill and Oshawott, and go out into the world to capture Pokemon to complete the first Sinnoh Pokedex! And of course, the crux of the story will focus on the legendary Pokemon of Creation in Arceus, his first time truly appearing in a mainline Pokemon game (not including elink events). Pokemon Legends Arceus will arrive in 2022.

There’s a lot to process here, and the fun isn’t done yet! As the Pokemon Virtual Concert featuring Post Malone is tomorrow on Pokemon Day! So watch the presentation below, enjoy the nostalgia, and go catch’em all!
