Ubisoft Is The Top-Selling 3rd Party Publisher On Nintendo Switch

Not even two generations ago, Nintendo was struggling heavily to get major 3rd party players to not just bring stuff to their console, but to bring it consistently. Fast forward to the days of the Nintendo Switch and while not every 3rd party player is coming to play with the Switch, there are still many bringing their best to the system. Platinum Games, Square Enix, Marvel, Capcom and of course, Ubisoft has been working hard to bring more 3rd party titles to the system.

And in a new financial report from Ubisoft, they have revealed that it is they who are the best-selling 3rd party publisher on the Nintendo Switch.

Ubisoft chief financial officer Frederick Duguet stated:

“We’re also reaping the benefits of the Switch’s huge success and our position as leading third-party publisher on the platform thanks to, among others, our Just Dance games and Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. The depth and breadth of our catalog, which goes beyond the brands mentioned, provides us with ever-greater visibility and continues to be a strong driver of profitability.”

Another key thing they noted was that Immortals: Feynx Rising was also doing well on the system. And that says nothing of their Starlink game which had a Star Fox collaboration that also did decent numbers. Now, we don’t know what this will mean for the future of their collaborations, but it’s looking hopeful.
