Nicholas Cage Stars in ‘Willy’s Wonderland’ Which is Totally Not Five Nights at Freddy’s

Later this year, an official Five Nights at Freddy’s move will begin filming. But will it have Nicholas Cage in it? If recent developments indicate anything, probably not. Nicholas Cage has his own movie about a worker at a pizza restaurant fending off killer animatronics, and it’s called Willy’s Wonderland.

If you watched the trailer and thought at first that this was in fact the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, that may be understandable. However, there are a few notable differences. Willy’s Wonderland stars Nicholas Cage, who does not appear anywhere in the Five Nights at Freddy’s video game series. The series has had a number of installments over the years since its debut in 2014, which means it had ample time to mention that Nic Cage was in the house. But it never did.

The other big difference is that so far, it appears that the murderous animatronics in Willy’s Wonderland are getting systematically hunted down by the Cage Man. In the Five Night’s at Freddy’s games, the lone worker notably hides from the animatronics. So clearly, you are not playing at Nicholas Cage.

Willy’s Wonderland has gotten the jump on the FNAF movie, as it will arrive on demand and in select theaters next Friday on February 12th. As the saying goes, if you snooze, you lose. Except in this case, if you delay your movie, a similar version of it will arrive first. And you do not want to be caught napping by Nicholas Cage.

Andrew comes from the majestic land of New Jersey (the part that doesn't smell). A big fan of sketch comedy, he writes and performs it whenever possible. He gets his powers from listening to indie folk music and drinking aloe water.
