Monster Hunter Rise Themed Nintendo Switch Releasing in Japan and Europe

Get ready, Japan, as Nintendo is set to release another special edition Nintendo Switch. No, not the Super Mario 3D World Switch, that’s old news. We’re talking about the upcoming Monster Hunter Rise themed Nintendo Switch. This is set to launch alongside the game’s release on Match 26, 2021.

This special edition Switch is priced at 38,400 Yen, which comes to about $370, give or take a few dollars. Included is a download code for Monster Hunter Rise, Deluxe Kit DLC, and bonus content. It’s also exclusive to Japan and Europe. So unless Nintendo announces this for North America, your only option for owning this sexy beast will be to import it. Reservations will start on Feb. 27th, 2021, and chances are this will sell out.

This special edition is a must-have if you’re a Monster Hunter fan and looks freaking awesome if you ask me. But don’t take my word for it; take a look at the images below.

If that’s too much for you, there’s also a special edition Nintendo Switch Pro controller that’s also releasing on March 26, 2021. This is priced at 7,480 Yen or about 72 dollars. This, too, is exclusive to Japan and Europe.

Monster Hunter Rise launches exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on March 26th, 2021. Will it make the jump to the platforms? Capcom isn’t talking, so we’ll have to wait and see.

I really want one of these, and I’m praying o the Monster Hunter gods that Nintendo eventually releases both of them over here. Importing a console, or even a controller is expensive, to say the least.
