New Pokemon Snap To Arrive This April on Switch!

By Todd BlackJanuary 14, 2021
New Pokemon Snap

There are a lot of games that fans feel should’ve gotten a sequel, but never did for one reason or another. Since the days of the N64, Pokemon fans have been begging Nintendo to bring back Pokemon Snap, the game where you go explore landscapes and take pictures of Pokemon in their natural habitats and beyond. There were rumors about a sequel for a long time, and then in 2020, New Pokemon Snap was revealed! But details were scarce…until today.

Because Nintendo has officially unveiled a brand trailer and all sorts of details on New Pokemon Snap, including what area of the Pokemon world you’re going to be in, how advanced the game is, and of course, the release date!

Welcome to the Lental region, your destination for adventure in #NewPokemonSnap! Venture from island to island on an ecological survey, building your Pokémon Photodex as you observe wild Pokémon in their natural habitat. There’s a thread attached to that tweet, so check out Twitter for more info on it!

But for an even more in-depth look at New Pokemon Snap, check out the very relaxing trailer that shows off the advancements in the visuals of the game compared to the original title!

This announcement comes right off the heels of the Pokemon Company starting to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise. They released a really cool video about it yesterday, and now this comes today! Who knows what else is coming in the year!
