Hardcore Mode and Winter Update heading to Ghostrunner

By Keith MitchellDecember 16, 2020
Ghostrunner hardcore mode and winter 2020 update

You’ve played the fantastic hack and slash parkour title known as Ghostrunner, haven’t you? It was pretty intense. Apparently, the developer, One More Level,  didn’t think it was, and they’ve added a hardcode mode to the game – because it wasn’t hardcore enough as it is. It’s ok; you can wipe the sweat from your brow. No one’s looking.

Already available for the PC and releasing on December 17th, 2021, as a free update for PS4 and Xbox One, the hardcore mode will push even those who’ve mastered the game to their limits. I’ve given it a spin already – it kicked my ass – I’m not afraid to admit that. Give it a try because it’s free, and you got nothing else to do, right?

Also heading to Ghostrunner is a Winter Update that adds the Cold Snap Katana and matching Cold Blood Glove.  You can check them both out in the video below.

Ghostrunner is currently available on PC (Steam/Epic Games Store), PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Enhanced versions for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will be released in 2021.
