As with previous installments, The Game Awards featured a littany of new announcements but none was more jarring than a prehisotric Vin Diesel fennding of a giant t-rex. Studio Wildcard announced their latest project in Ark 2, the sequel to the influential Ark: Survival Evolved released in 2017, with a cinemtic trailer featuring the Fast & the Furious action star.
Not much else was revealed in the in-engine, cinematic trailer but Vin Diesel as a dinosaur hunter might be all the information we need for the time being.
Additionally, a tie-in animated series was revelead that features a surprisingly star-studded cast. Karl Urban, Gerard Butler, and Russel Crowe are just a few names attached to Ark: The Animated Series which is set to release sometime in 2022.
