Here’s All the New Marvel Shows Coming to Disney+

By Sara Roncero-MenendezDecember 10, 2020

Disney+ is bringing the holiday cheer early with a slew of new shows and feature films for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, among its other franchises, like Star Wars.

Coming up first, Wandavision gets a new trailer ahead of its January 15 release:

And we get the first trailer for Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which will air on March 19, 2021:

The line-up wouldn’t be complete with Loki, which will follow everyone’s favorite trickster in May 2021:

“Glorious.”

And we get our first look at the youngest member of the MCU, Ms. Marvel, coming to screens in late 2021:

Ms. Marvel, a newer character to Marvel Comics has grabbed the world's imagination, and we are excited to announce Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan.

Also confirmed has been Hawkeye, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight, though no new details have been shared. There’s also a Secret Invasion series featuring Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, Ironheart featuring genius Riri Williams, Armor Wars that will feature War Machine, an animated Marvel’s What If…? and I Am Groot, with shorts featuring everyone’s favorite tree person. James Gunn is also coming back to write and direct a Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, for 2022.

But wait, there’s more! On the film side of the MCU, we have the cast announcement for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. This includes Awkafina, Michelle Yeoh, and Tony Leung, with Simu Liu as the titular Shang-Chi:

There’s also be a confirmation of Captain Marvel 2, and Ant-man and the Wasp 3: Quantumania:

Black Panther 2 has been confirmed for summer 2022, but will not be recasting Chadwick Boseman, but instead exploring other characters in Wakanda.

And perhaps the most surprising news of all — Jon Watts is working on a Fantastic Four movie. Maybe third time is the charm?

A reporter by trade, Sara is a lover of horror, sci-fi, and all things pop culture. From indies to classics to even the strangest schlock, all movies and TV shows are fair game. She believes Batman is the most fascinating superhero, and that Silent Hill is one of the best horror franchises ever made (as long as you don't count the movies). Fun Fact: The only movie Sara will not rewatch is The Room -- once was more than enough.
