Apex Legends Heads to Steam This November 2020

By Keith MitchellOctober 27, 2020

When EA announced they would bring over their catalog of games back to Steam, we know it was only a matter of time before Apex Legends would make its way over. Today, EA took to Twitter and announced that Apex Legends would appear on Steam this November 4th, 2020.

Those that currently play Apex Legends on PC using EA’s Origin will be able to transfer their process once the game is available on Steam as well. For now, you can browse the Apex Legends page on Steam or wishlist it.

The arrival of Apex Legends on Steam coincides with the seventh season of the game, called Ascension, which starts on November 4th, 2020. Included in this new season are the following:

  • A new map called Olympus
  • A new vehicle called Trident
  • The new game featured called clubs that will enable gamers to form guilds
  • A new legend called Horizon, real name Mary Somers.

Horizon was introduced in a video that was released on Oct. 26th, 2020. She’s described as “a brilliant astrophysicist who escaped a black hole and aims to use her newfound mastery of gravity to keep a promise”. Tragedy stuck Horizon while exploring the outer limits of a black hole, betrayed by her assistant, and was lost to time. Only to find a way back, 87 years later. Now she looks to fulfill a promise she made long ago to her son, that she’d return to him.

Both Apex Legends Season 7 and Apex Legends on Steam will be released on November 4th, 2020. Apex Legends is currently playable on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Origin and soon on Steam).
