Some lucky soul managed to get their hands on an Xbox Series X early

By Keith MitchellOctober 12, 2020

Somebody goofed up

While I don’t know how it happened, some lucky person has managed to get their hands on an Xbox Series X ahead of the official launch. Due to this, we’re being treated to an early Xbox Series X unboxing and one that’s not controlled by Microsoft.

While the video isn’t very long, we do get to see the official Xbox Series X package, what’s inside including the console, controller, and booklets/instructions. It also looks like the console does have a bit of heft to it, as evident when whoever is doing the unbox attempts to retrieve the console from the packaging.

Check out the video below, but be mindful that this video was not recorded in English. So you may or may not understand what’s being spoken. It’s also not clear as to where this console was purchased from.

I don’t know how it happened, or what store messed up, but you can be sure that Microsoft likely isn’t too thrilled about this. With about a month left to go, I’m sure Microsoft will likely try to track down who exactly sold this console early.

On top of this, it was earlier today that a Reddit user “thejasonng” posted a message, showing off an image of multiple Xbox Series X on pallets either being shipped to a store or already in stores.

The Xbox Series X and Series S will both be released on November 10th, 2020 in North America. Well, except for whoever is doing this unboxing, they already have theirs.
