Cyberpunk 2077 Has Gone Gold, the wait isn’t that much longer now

By Keith MitchellOctober 5, 2020

Monday is here and what better way to get the week started than to find out that Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold! This means the game is officially ready to be released and now the game is being prepped for launch.

Easily one of the most anticipated games of the generation, Cyberpunk has had its fair share of ups and downs. Including being delayed several times. But that’s all over, and while many had feared that the game would be delayed again, with this announcement, that isn’t going to happen.

Players will assume the role of the character known as “V”, and will take on the thriving world known as Night City, in a first-person open-world RPG. Don’t expect this to be a cookie-cutter experience, as every decision you make will change how the game is played.

While there were reports of crunch being implemented, now that the game is gold there’s no word if the crunch will continue.  If it does, it will likely result in a day one patch when the game is released.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19th, 2020, for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. While the game will be playable on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, the game will feature a free next-gen upgrade for those who upgrade to the next-generation of consoles.

Are you looking forward to playing this game as much as I am? I can’t wait to take off a few days from work, sit in from of my TV, and get lost in Night City.
