Pokemon Sword and Shield’s Crown Tundra Coming October 23rd

By Todd BlackSeptember 29, 2020
Pokemon Sword and Shield, The Crown Tundra

Pokemon Sword and Shield has been a big hit for the Nintendo Switch, but another aspect of it was that the game would be getting an expansion pass for the first time ever! Part 1, The Isle of Armor, is already out, but Part 2, The Crown Tundra is still in development. HOWEVER, today, a special update revealed that Part 2 of the expansion will be arriving on October 23rd.

There was also a special trailer to highlight what was coming, including confirming that ALL legendary Pokemon from past generations can be caught in The Crown Tundra, as well as showing off some new Pokemon and variants like Galarian SlowKing.

Add to that, you might remember them noting that a special tag team tournament would be happening in this expansion and it’s true. But the twist is that you get to pick the partner you fight with! It can be a gym leader, a special trainer you met in the main game, or someone you met in the Expansion Pass!

And for those who haven’t gotten Pokemon Sword and Shield yet, you might want to wait until November 6th, because they’ll be releasing special versions of Sword and Shield that contain the expansion pass within them! Check out all the information via the video below!
