Samurai Shodown heads to the Xbox Series X and S

By Keith MitchellSeptember 25, 2020

Xbox Series X and S gets its first fighting game

Announced during the TGS 2020 Xbox Livestream, Xbox and SNK announced that Samurai Shodown will debut on the Xbox Series X and S. The game is already available on the PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, Nintendo Switch, and more recently on PC (Epic Games Store).

According to the trailer that was released alongside the news, the game will be released Winter 2020, right around when the Xbox Series X and S are released. This means this is the fighting game that will be available on the platforms.

Currently, there’s no word if the Xbox Series X and S version will see any enhancements over the other versions. Though, here’s to hoping that the game could see some higher resolution textures and better netcode.

Are you excited for Samsho on Xbox Series X and S? Let us know in the comments.
