New Trailer for ‘Little Nightmares 2’ Goes Into the Woods

By Andrew AgressAugust 29, 2020

When Little Nightmares arrived in 2017, Tarsier Studios gave us a game with creepy visuals alongside its puzzle platformer gameplay. But in the new trailer for Little Nightmares 2, the horror gets dialed up a few notches. Not content to have players flee from a goofy-looking chef onboard a ship, the sequel introduces a hooded huntsman who chases you through the woods. Check it out.

It appears that despite the scarier setting, Little Nightmares 2 will feature the same core gameplay as the original. While players take on the role of a little raincoat clad girl named Six in the first game, this time around they’ll play as Mono, a small lad wearing a bag on his head. However, Six will make an appearance as a supporting character, so it appears the game will tie in closely to the original, which we called “an easily recommended time-killing adventure” in our review.

Little Nightmares 2 will arrive on PlayStation 4 on February 21st, 2021 and on the upcoming PlayStation 5 sometime later that year. For those wondering if they should wait for the PlayStation 5 version, Tarsier Studios confirms that owners of the PlayStation 4 game will receive a free upgrade should they get the new console.
