13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Receives New Gameplay Trailer

By Henry BuehlerAugust 11, 2020

The PlayStation Blog has released a 20-minute long video detailing the upcoming action-adventure game 13: Sentinels Aegis Rim, published by Atlus and developed by Vanillaware.

13: Sentinels Aegis Rim is an absolutely stunning 2D side-scrolling game featuring mecha, giant monsters, time travel, aliens, and Japanese high school students. Explore gorgeous, hand-drawn environments as 13 different playable characters and engage giant monsters in top-down tactical combat as you pilot mecha called, the Sentinels.

13: Sentinels Aegis Rim has been incredibly well received in Japan, winning awards from IGN, Famitsu, the Japanese Game Awards, and receiving praise from celebrated game developers such as Yoko Taro and Masahiro Sakurai.

The gameplay video from PlayStation is of the English version and features English text and Japanese audio, but rest assured that an English dub will be included at launch.

Check out the trailer down below.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim releases on September 22nd, 2020 for PlayStation in North America. If you pre-order the game, you’ll also snag a free artbook that’s full of gorgeous, high-definition character art.
