Netflix’s ‘High Score’ docuseries dives headfirst into the past of video games

Netflix High Score Docuseries-01

While we’re all stuck in our homes, doing our best to avoid the crazy and the dreaded COVID-19, it’s been a good time to catch up on some favorite and new shows. Speaking of new shows, Netflix has a new show that’s relating next week, called ‘High Score’. As the name suggests, it has something to do with gaming, but you’d be only half right.

Oh, it’s definitely about video games, but it’s so much more than that. In this new docuseries, Netflix will dive headfirst into the world of video games, taking a look at those who made today’s gaming possible. It’s a look into the evolution of video games and after watching the trailer a few times, I could see my childhood passing before my eyes.

We’re talking PAC-Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Paper Boy, the Atari 2600, Street Fighter, the Sega Genesis, Nintendo Entertainment System, and much more. Needless to stay, I’ll be watching this when it gets released. And if you’re any sort of a gamer and want to know more about the golden age of gaming, give this a look.

Netflix’s High Score debuts on August 19th, 2020, and just like everything on service, you’ll be able to binge through it all.
