I Once Was A Demon Lord, But Now I’m A Hero! Releases

By Josh PiedraJuly 1, 2020

Original English light novel author AyKay announced today that I Once Was A Demon Lord, But Now I’m A Hero! has officially released! The light novel debuted on July 1 and is available to read on online web novel platform Tapas.

AyKay describes the series as follows:

After falling at the hands of a valiant hero, a Demon Lord’s dying request is granted. Now reincarnated in another world, Mao gets to live it up like he never did before. All he has to do to earn the life he believes he deserves is to be heroic.

There’s just one small problem. Mao has no clue what it means to be a hero. And he’s still a destructive demon with a short temper at heart. But he can still save the day, right. Right?!

The author previously released the series Maho no Ken on June 1, also on the Tapas platform.
